Mrs. Leslie Gilmore

Hello! I'm the 4^th grade science and social studies teacher. I have been teaching for 16 years, the last six at Union Grove. I love the relationships that I make with each of my students and their parents!

I graduated from Pine Tree in 1998 and received my Associates degree from Kilgore College in 2000. In 2002 I graduated from SFA with a Bachelor of Science and received a teaching certificate for grades 1-8. My husband, Gavin Gilmore and I have been married for the past 16 years. Gavin teaches Art at Hallsville Junior High School. We attend Pine Tree Church of Christ in Longview. Gavin and I have a 5 year old daughter named Sophie, who is in Kindergarten this year.

Back to school is my absolute favorite time of the year. No matter how great the last year was, I can always think of new things that I want to do, or things that I want to improve on this year. It’s a fresh startt!
