Mrs. Gailyn Sutton

This is my second stint at Union Grove.  I first taught here for 9 years until I took off 7 years raising my children.  I then, returned to Union Grove and have lost track of the time, but I know over 10 years.  Therefore, I taught many of you during my first 9 years and now am teaching many of my student's children.  

I grew up in Ore City where I was active in school activities--UIL Spelling, Debate, Ready Writing, band--drum major, basketball, track--state qualifier.  I graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University and my first teaching job was at New Diana 9 years.  

I love the Union Grove family and am probably best known because of my student's successes in UIL Accounting competition in which Union Grove is represented yearly at the state meet in Austin.  I also attend most of the school events that involve our kids and at times other events outside of the school realm such as middle school softball games, baptisms, Eagle Scout ceremonies.
