Union Grove ISD provides Special Education services to enhance appropriate educational opportunities for students with disabilities. With high expectations for success, students with disabilities are prepared to become life-long learners and contributing members of the community.
We provide special educational services to students with disabilities as provided in the Individuals with Disabilities Education Improvement Act, 2004. The District has the duty to identify, refer, evaluate and if the child is eligible, provide a free, appropriate public education to students with disabilities.
Union Grove ISD Special Education supports parent involvement at all levels. The Principal at each campus can provide information regarding the ARD process, transfers, available resources, and the continuum of services. Parents are encouraged to call for information if questions or concerns arise.
