Hello! My name is Abbey Matatall, and I will be teaching dual credit English IV and facilitating the remote learning program this year. I'm so excited to be back at Union Grove and to be a part of this community. I am from and live in Big Sandy, and I've earned degrees from the University of Texas at Austin, University of Texas at Tyler, and Stephen F. Austin State University. Most recently, I have earned my Ed.D. in Educational Leadership with a specialization in curriculum and instruction. I am passionate about teaching, reading, writing, technology, and helping students attain their academic and life goals. I'm looking forward to another great year at UG!
