Union Grove ISD Names Superintendent Lone Finalist
May 31, 2018
The Union Grove ISD Board of Trustees, at its meeting on May 30th, 2018 named Mrs. Kelly Moore, as the lone finalist for Superintendent. By law the Board must wait 21 days before Moore’s employment is official as the Superintendent of Union Grove ISD.
First and foremost we had great applicants apply for this position and we feel as a board we have selected that person to help this district to continue great success. We have had the luxury of over the last 11 years to achieve greatness under the leadership of Mr. Brian Gray. We value and appreciate his work ethic and his love for this district. His passion and love for our kids is contagious and is a reason we have the district we have now. Mr. Gray “Once a Lion always a Lion”.
During this superintendent search we had 30 applicants, 10 interviews, with 4 of the 10 returning for 2nd interviews. This decision for this board has been very stressful, and difficult, but also it has been very rewarding for this board as a group. We want to thank Mr. Gray for his support and help in this selection.
